Molly Malones Irish Pub

Molly Malones is a popular Irish-themed pub in the centre of Devonport.

The pub’s interior is designed to evoke a traditional Irish setting, with dark wooden furnishings, vintage décor and a cosy, dimly-lit environment. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively, with regular live music performances, mainly folk or acoustic, adding to the ambience. Unfortunately, it’s not a fully authentic Irish pub as part of the pub is set aside for pokies and this clashes with the pub’s more traditional aspects.

The menu at Molly Malones leans heavily towards pub classics with Irish influences, including dishes such as Guinness-braised beef pie, fish and chips, and lamb stew. These dishes are prepared with Tasmanian-sourced ingredients wherever possible. The pub also serves a range of beers, with Irish favourites such as Guinness and Kilkenny on tap, alongside local brews and a selection of wines.
